Claire Lawrie holds an MA Fine Art (distinction) from Central Saint Martins University of the Arts London (2021) and a BA in Photography from The London College of Communication (2011). She often works with individuals and communities close to her, weaving intimate personal histories. She uses both staged and documentary, strategies to make still and moving images that extend the traditional portrait.
